Smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, smart watches, the list goes on and on, and Thinkgeek intends to help you out with the $34.99 Smart AC Automotive Power Strip.


The Smart AC Automotive Power Strip will be able to juice up just about all things, where this inverter plugs into your cigarette lighter socket. It will come with a couple of USB power ports and two AC outlets, and fret not about it melting down or catching fire, since the safety features which have been thrown into the mix include over-voltage, overload, short-circuit, high-temperature protection, and low voltage shut-off. The whole family should be more than happy with this bad boy, since you can juice smartphones, tablets, e-readers, laptops, DVD players, game consoles, and digital cameras among others while you are on the go. How could we not like a product whose feature list includes checkmarks for "badass" and "incites jealousy"? Better yet, both are actually true of the Wolf Helmet ($200). This DOT-certified helmet is what it says on the box, putting a somewhat creepy, somewhat funny, but totally mesmerizing realistic wolf head on top of yours.


Not feeling the wolf, but have an idea for another animal head you'd rather wear when riding your motorcycle? They offer a custom service that will bring your vision to life for only $100 more. It gives the term "wolfpack" a whole new meaning.

It's not quite yacht-sized, but at 28 feet, it's as close as you're going to come on the road. The Airstream Land Yacht ($TBA) was built instead with yacht-like luxury in mind, from the queen-sized bed with built-in night stands to the fully-enclosed bathroom. The nautical influence can be felt with high-luster teak and white wood inlay boat-deck flooring.


Other features include sleeping space for up to five, a rear social space with wrap-around windows, a powered bed lift for easier storage access, three power awnings, LED lighting, Corian countertops, and Ultraleather upholstery. And just like a yacht, you might find discovering an appropriate place to park it quite the challenge.

Some concepts seem ready for production, while some make you wish they were ready for production. The Mercedes-Benz GLA Concept ($TBA) belongs in the latter category. Built on the same compact vehicle architecture as the A- and B-Class, this compact crossover is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder good for 208 hp that's paired to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and MB's 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.


That's all fairly normal, as are the 20-inch wheels, large roof spoiler, and interior that features a blend of leather and dark galvanized aluminum. The air vents are illuminated from behind, glowing blue for cool air and red for warm, but that's not outlandish — what is are the laser-beam projector headlamps, which provide light at night but can also project nearly anything you want onto a flat surface. That includes pictures, navigation info, or even video taken with the two removable HD cameras that are mounted on the roof rack. Coming to a dealer near you in 2026. Just kidding — we hope.

Shipping fully assembled bikes is expensive. So the people behind the Sandwichbike ($TBA) decided to ship their bike in pieces. The result is a new take on the bike, built from a "sandwich" of two weather-coated frames of plywood, bonded together with "smart cylinders" and designed to be both rugged and good looking.


Thanks to this unique design, the bike comes flat packed with everything you need in the box, including all the tools and the less-than-50 parts. The only downside? You can't get one just yet — but they will be available later this year.

Like the company's long-running series of suped-up Mustangs, the Shelby Raptor ($18,000 and up, not including the SVT Raptor) takes Ford's already beastly truck to the next level. The package includes a 2.9L supercharger and a Shelby Borla exhaust that combine to boost the V8's output from 411 to 575 hp, optional custom wheels with 35-in Goodrich All-Terrain tires, and your choice of three graphics kits, one of which looks like it was inspired by the cover of a 1990's graphic novel. So don't choose that one.

Get all the performance of a Porsche with all the benefits of a totally electric ride with the 2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid ($99,000). A follow up on the prior Panamera S Hybrid, the E-Hybrid sports a 95hp electric motor - up from 47hp in the prior model - and a larger lithium-ion battery that can recharge in 2.5 hours via a 240V power source.


Running totally off the battery, it has a range of roughly 20 miles and a top speed of 84 mph, but engage the twin-turbo 3.0L V6 and you'll have access to 416 horses, a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds, and a top speed of 167 mph. Arriving in late 2013.

Look out Tesla: there's a new company claiming to have the fastest all-electric car on the block. The Detroit Electric SP:01 ($TBA) packs a 200 hp motor into the middle of its carbon fiber body, channeling the power through the rear wheels.


The roughly 2,350 lb. vehicle can rocket from 0-62 in just 3.7 seconds, reaches a top speed of 155 mph, and thanks to some patented technology can also act like an enormous battery pack, powering by itself — but unlike the other features, we're guessing that's one you'd really rather not ever have to use.
